The quiet village of TimpleBerry was waking up one morning when it found a group of young ruffians looking around in their garbage. As they proceeded to see what was happening, they realised that the ruffians were trying to steal the bones of the old village mascot, Boppy. As the halflings rushed at these ruffians they found out that this group was in fact, made up of zombies, and mummies.
However, nothing scared these brave little men, and they charged at them nevertheless. As battle ensued, the hallfings managed to mug each of the zombies systematically of the bones, untill there was only the skull of poor Boppy left. The zombies had at this point, reformed in a cage around the skull-bearer, and the halflings had worn themselves out, and were panting heavily...
Unfortunately the zombies now strided away towards the woods with their trophy, boasting and jeering to the poor halflings. These zombies were so distracted by the jeering that they were doing, that they tripped over a the roots of two nearby trees. This left the skull bearer totally unprotected, so our brave little friends, or BLFs as we shall now call them, rushed up onto the terrified zombie, and started to beat the (un)living daylight out of him, whilst laughing hysterically. However in their joy, the halflings had failed to notice the huge werewolf sneaking away into the woods.
Luckily the trees had more sense, and the same two trees which had tripped up most of the zombies proceeded to pick up and throw halflings at the werewolf, who stopped in amazement. Shortly after a ritual gang fouling of the werewolf began, lasting for approximately 2 hours as werewolves are very hard to kill when you're as short as our BLFs.
As this process had continued, a lone man was watching, who shortly after offered a contract to the halflings, as well as to the two trees who had helped them out. It later turned out that this same man had been the one who had ordered the zombies to steal the body of the village mascot, Boppy, so that he could make an undead team for his blood bowl league.
The only problem that faced the halflings was what to practice with, as our BLFs had never heard of "balls". Fortunately this problem was resolved as the coach gently suggested that they used the mascot's skull to fulfill this role.
