[X2] Chaos Dwarf
| An aptly named team of miscreants, their chaotic game style and absolute lack of consistency does tend to leave their fans, and coach, with a sick feeling. After an initially promising start in Season 2, the team was almost relegated from Div 2 in Season 3, with the backers noting that a swift sale on the slave block was in the imminent future of most players. Surprisingly, a hard fought game saw them survive relegation and line up for Season 4. Extensive injuries and a waning fan-base have seen the team decline in both skill and numbers, with meagre gate takings barely sufficing to pay the teams apothecary bills. Management has already received an offer for the aging bull centaurs from "Joe's Knackers". Rather than paying the Knackers to take the centaurs away, the owners have removed the team from the league, relegating them to the status of a training side in the SWL Qualifying Pool after a dismal final game that proved that the team had few if any skills and could not capitalise on opponent mistakes and bad luck even after the few remaining fans invaded the pitch and sidelined 3 players for the game. It is understood that the only remaining fans are 3 old grannies who can't walk, chew or see (but knit very well) and one of the player's mothers - all of whom have been asked to play by management. |
