"Rickey the Rat and Friends" was a mildly-successful Skaven children's show ("children's show" meaning that it was a show dedicated to hunting, preparing, cooking, and serving children). Unfortunately, the cast's tendency to eat sponsors resulted in financial troubles. The marketing department came up with the bright idea of playing exhibition Blood Bowl games against teams of local vagrants to raise some cash, and a "reorganization" plan was born . . .

As a team, the Ratsketeers have been just as underwhelmingly successful as they were a TV show. It turns out that teams of beastmen or orcs are somewhat tougher prey than frightened children or drunks playing for food -- who knew? The Rats can be bullied, and do occasionally get blown clean off the pitch. However, like any good Skaven team, they've got enough raw speed to keep any game interesting, and have cultivated a deep bench to help with that pesky "attrition" thing. They don't win 'em all, but they can keep you on your toes -- though they'd much rather nibble them off.
