What happens to all those poor souls that get fired by their coaches due to some minor inadequacy? Well, at least a few of them wander the world, frustrated and restless. Some of those get in touch with darker forces, incidentally or on purpose. And as dark forces like bloodbowl, they eventually enter the pitch again - alive and kicking. All players bought for this team (except beasts) will be retired players.
