Background In the sprawling Elven metropolis of Whitevale, a tough, lonely borough beats away as the very heart of the city. Oldbrick has a little bit of everything: forges and mines to power itself and its neighbouring boroughs, homes for its residents and visitors, and a crisscrossing network of streets and alleys that tumble down the sharp hills of the district, piled up over and upon one another like the roots of a tree peeking just above ground. Yet from this industrious and diverse centre, a city of extravagence and greed grew: newly-rich families built palaces and gardens on the plateaus of the upper city; newly-spurned families retreated to the sewers and the alleys and plotted murder and robbery; and the rest tumbled beyond the Whitevale walls altogether, and took up residence among the forests around the city. As districts grew ever more distant, and the divide between High, Dark and Wood Elves grew, the Elves of Oldbrick kept their heads down, scraped their livelihoods together, and established their near-ancient borough as a refuge for the misfit, the overlooked, and the grafter. And this is reflected in their Bloodbowl team! The Arrows have locked horns with the other Elf teams of Whitevale for generations; they lost to the Dark Elf Howlgarden Havoc in the fifth Vale Cup Final by a crushing score of 7-2, and defeated the Wood Elf Oakflesh Warriors in the following year's final, after their opponents refused to show up due to a local anti-logging protest being held the same day. Now, they venture forth from their home city, looking to taking on races from all over the Old World, in the pusruit of victory, glory, and getting cheap experience from completing irritating endless short passes deep in your own half. - After 10 games - 0/5/5 - 1580k TV It has been a rough debut for the Arrows, failing to record a victory in their first ten games. At times, they have been squished, such as the 3-0 drubbing against the Human Kislevko Bears, and the tragic 3-2 defeat to the High Elf Washington Heights Ballers, in which Froena Tallspire lost her life. Yet there have been positives: the team's very first game, against the fellow Elf Throwing It All Away Reboot ended 3-3 after the Arrows slipped behind 2-0 early on, and the development of star thrower Tommi Blackring, and the catchers Gwilae Coldfeather and Tauran Bluesoul give the team hope for the future.
