Team Design Philosophy: The Panthers were once again based off the Big 2 but with
access to only 9 players, less coaches and lower armour on their linemen to reflect the
difference in wealth. To provide them with a different approach to make up for this they
have access to a catcher rather than the wingers often seen in college. The catchers are
likely recruited from outside the city within the province and as such have Nerves of Steel
to reflect the steely resolve required of folk from the Talabecland forest.


Formed from the aftermath of a bar room brawl at the Black Lantern.

The brawl decimated the prior roster leaving four linemen positions needing to be filled.

The coach in haste grabbed the Black Lantern's help staff. He promised the college educations and the opportunity to break into the pros.

The next day at early morning practice the coach was optimistic about his decision. The new guys physical stature was comparable to the recruited freshmen who had survived the brawl.

The coaches biggest problem was the academic enrollment status of the new motleys. The administration gave the coach a long stare over the questionable diplomas that were obviously acquired at Snorri's Pawnshop.

Especially a problem was the dishwasher the boys called "Rathold", he got this nickname because that is where he is from The Ratholds... where they speak a crude and difficult to decipher language of poverty and lack of education.

The coach promised the administration that Rathold's diploma was sound.

A compromise was met with the four newest linemen for the Panthers would be on academic probation while Rathold would be under scrutiny based off of his academic and athletic performance.
