(2020-10-18) Yirles entered the training program quite late and was not among the first batch to leave Athel Loren. Her training was not quite completed when Aedos sent word to his father for more players, but she had enough skills with the ball to qualify for the position of Thrower.Qynyleh saved the life of Shadowmage Dhicae. (2020-10-17) Shadowmage Dichae was beaten to the ground by a Nurgle Bloater. He was hurt really bad. The team of physicians rushed to the pitch and carried him out on a stretcher. As he was carried into the dugout he had already faded away. But Qynyleh wouldn't have it! A player was not to die in her first game. She lay her hands on his dead body and sang in the ancient elven language. Dichae's body twitched and he came alive. It was a miracle! Had it not been for Qynyleh, Dichae would have been dead. Prince Aedos was grateful that father had sent her as quickly as he had.The King's personal physician, Qynyleh Dhallef, arrives. (2020-10-17) Aedos faced more resistance than he'd thought in the games of football. He immediately sent word back home to father. It didn't take long before his majesty's personal physician Qynyleh Dhallef arrived. With her on the sideline his team members would be much safer! Background The Royal family Deep in the woods of Athel Loren ruled the royal elven family, Lendynra. King Tudirgian and Queen Enne had three children. Their first born son, Elavenduil, commanded the elven army. Their daughter, Liedynnel, was the warden of the woods. Their youngest son, Aedos, was soon to become of age and would then lead the newly trained Royal Wood Elf Blood Bowl team. The sophistication and cunning of elves Elavenduil was occupied in skirmishes on the borders of the inferior race of Men when word came that dark forces had crossed the Shadowlands and invaded the Old World. Reports told of how a campaign led by a man called Sargoth, also known as 'The Son of Wrath', lay waste to villages and towns alike. Any fighting Wood Elf was worth at least five bestial men from the Realms of Chaos, Elavenduil thought to himself. However, this dark army had his outnumbered ten to one... The Elven King Tudirgian brokered an alliance with their former advesary: the Kingdom of Men. Soon after, Elavenduil met the dark army on the battlefield. There he stood across the field, the Son of Wrath. This would be the day that he learned of the sophistication and cunning of elves from Athel Loren, though Elavenduil as he smiled. The pride before the fall When the battle looked the most dire for the elves, Elavenduil gave a signal. From the woods rode an army of Men, outflanking the Chaos army. The dark forces could not defend both flanks and were slaughtered. But like a wedge, a small group of Chaos commanders managed to force their way through the elves army. They had to be stopped! Elavenduil led his royal guard to meet them. A beastial woman faced him. She wore armor that was both practical and ornamental at the same time. A clan leader, perhaps. She stared at him with anger. "Today is the day I get my revenge, prince", she screamed as she charged towards him. Elavenduil did not fear any foe, for he was their superior. But his pride became his fall as the beast severed his head from his body in one swift swing of her curved sword. Elavenduil's legacy While the victory over the dark forces was celebrated throughout the woods of Athel Loren, Elavenduil's death had dampened the mood of the elves. The Royal Prince Aedos Lendynra decided to name the Royal Wood Elves Blood Bowl team after his older brother, to preserve his legacy. Aedos was not a warrior like his brother. He was better known for his cunnnig. And on the Blood Powl pitch he would avenge his brother and bring glory to both his race and his father, King Tudirgian! Owners King and Queen Tudirgian and Enne Lendynra The royal elven family of Athel Loren decided to train a Blood Bowl team in honor of their youngest son, Aedos, who was soon become of age. He would join his older siblings in the quest to bring glory to the royal family and to the elven race. Head Coach Elven Prince Aedos Lendynra Aedos was groomed from his early teens to become a strategist. His father had a Blood Bowl team trained in secret. On his day of becoming of age, Aedos was given the honor to lead them onto the pitch and bring glory to his family. Only months after it was announced, and before they had even played their first game, Aedos's older brother had been slain in battle. Aedos decided to name the team after his older brother and make it his mission to continue his legacy. Players The Royal Football Team of Athel Loren The players of the team have been trained in secret since Aedos's was fifteen. Although a newly formed team, they are not to be mistaken for rookies. Most have been hand-picked by the King himself and has been trained by seasoned coaches hired by His Royal Family. Apothecaries His majesty's personal physician, Qynyleh Dhallef, and her team Prince Aedos faced more resistance than he'd thought in the first game of Blood Bowl. His players were really hurting after the game. It was a miracle that none of them were seriously hurt. He immediately sent word back home to father. It didn't take long before his majesty's personal physician Qynyleh Dhallef arrived with her team of physicians. With them on the sideline his team members would be much safer in the future!
