[R] Orc
| Janne is calling our names. We had all forgotten until his friendly although somewhat aloof face made these bizarre little micements and twists that made us get "the glimpses". We had past lives before being born into these orc and goblinoid forms. We used to be gurus, prophets, schamans and high priests of all different species throughout the old world. We died. We reincarnated. We got glimpses of this when we met Janne. Janne threw us a ball. When the ball moved, we remembered our past. Who we really are. We, one after another, followed him, playing the ball, hoping that more and more of us would find our way back. The kick-off was our sacrament, the block and tackle our ritual. We were happy on the field. Then we lost Janne. Perhaps he just lost us in his aloofness. We no longer sense the universe when the ball flies high in the air and the audience cheers. For now, we're just traveling around the arenas in the hope of hearing any rumor that might lead us to him. It is something desperate about our game now, and it has lost most of it's finesse. Janne, come back to us we pray! ... And then one day, he's there again. After some aloof wanderings, he's back with us. He seems to have forgotten right about everything, but his eyes are the same. |
