Beauty, wisdom, grace and power. These are the qualities associated with the kingdom of Ulthuan and it's people. They are the fairest and wisest, most learned in ways both martial and scholastic. They concern themselves not with lesser beings, for they are the firstborn.

And yet, they who are highest have the furthest to fall. Malekith's treachery sundered the noble kingdoms and left many provinces in pieces. Their numbers were diminished and their superiority had been challenged. They saw the bottom as a dying species, but drew up their armies for the final battle.

The final battle never came. Bloodbowl overtook the Old World long before the demonic hordes did. Without the need to play god, many felt that the High elves would die out. This was not the case as numerous teams went out and experienced huge success. Once again the elves take to the pitch to finally prove their skill. Where once there was doom, their is now glory. Out of Darkness, light. The high elves are back.

Stadium


Situated over the mouth of the volcano Anul Caled, the Eternal keep is remarkable even without its grand design. The white marble pillars, gold inscriptions in the elvish tongue and luxurious banners are all mere frivolities in the riches of Ulthuan. The real splendour is in the enchantment weaved upon it. As the match progresses, the gold gradually turns silver and the white to black, until the entire stadium is thus transformed. Then, at half-time and the final whistle, ethereal fire races through, transforming it back to its original glory and providing entertainment!
