A BloodBowl team formed from the most unlikely origins.

The Snark Men came about after a particularly large amount of drink and boasting in the most common of circumstances - a bunch of pirates drinking in an alehouse.

With progressively bigger boasts and bigger bets about which captain could make the strongest BloodBowl team, a hooded figure in the corner called their bluff:

"Who is brave enough to side with the Sons of Stromfels?"

A snarky comment from one captain who wasn't quite as drunk as he seemed replied "Who would be dumb enough to take that offer? We would all be shark chow before the end of the first game!"

The quiet figure pushed back his hood to reveal himself, with distinctive facial tattoos for a priest of Stromfel.
"Then you are not worthy".
"Come, captain without-weak-knees, make your team and take this fools plunder, ship and crew...I will bring your gods"

The captain, far too drunk to argue at this point and beaming with an expression of victory.
"Arr, I be that dumb" he pronounced, and the Snark Men were born.
