The team consists of stout ex-miners and utilizes their affinity to cursed everice.

Some of the players can manipulate their surroundings in certain ways, like creating frozen surfaces to slide on or making their skin tougher and numb to pain.

Rare individuals can even create ice in such a manner that they can form it freely around their body, like thick spiked armor or razorsharp blades and claws.




History

What to do when the old family business runs dry?
The mining shaft emptied of treasures, the slaves spent and broken...?
You start building a bloodbowl team to earn some coin and share the delights of torture and pain with the world, like only the deepest, blackest pits have to offer.


The former Coldrender-Clan looks back on a long tradition of mining cursed everice. Being close to such eldritch energies and temperatures, the clan slowly but surely developed certain traits for which they are known for today.


The cold blue inner glowing of the everice became part of its miners, having seeped into their very skin, eyes and hair/beards over the decades, which got them the nickname icedwarfs back in the day.



Team Appearance

Old mining gear, retrofitted to suit the more violent and faster movements on the pitch.

A few of the dwarfs disregard armor alltogether, having their skin and clothes frozen enough to provide enough protection.

Many if not all teammembers show significant physiological changes due to their constant contact to their chosen element. Pale white or blue skin, glowing eyes and frozen accessories are a standard these days, since only the clan members with the most affinity get chosen for team tryouts.
