Simmons prevailed over his own weight problem before relocating to Galadrieth in 2473. There was no significant fitness movement in the Old World at the time, and to no avail, Simmons attempted to find a health club that wasn't for Star Players who were already in shape. After traversing the county, looking for a facility for any and everyone, his only alternative was for him to create that safe haven. In 2574, after consulting with apothecaries and wizards to ensure the safety of a program tailored to the needs of everyone, from overweight Ogres and obese Bull Centaurs, physically challenged Halflings to the senior High Elves, a determined Simmons established an innovative team where the overweight of the lands were inspired by fitness gurus from around the Old World and beyond. This team was met with instant success and continues playing today at SLIMMONS Stadium just on the outskirts of Ulthuan, where Richard still teaches. While many of his legions of fans are overweight, he also resonates with everyone, anyone who has a few pounds to lose and wants to play Blood Bowl!
