Cairngorm Razors

The Razors were formed by Ildak Spleenkicker, a former orc warlord who made his fortune from leading his hordes on plundering raids into the gold-rich-but-undead-infested ruins of Khemri. Returning from the deserts with wagons brimming with gold, Ildak retired from plundering and set about to live his life as an important orc, giving his men just enough action from attacking the occasional human settlement to keep them from rebelling.

Soon, however, Ildak became bored with sitting around, drinking expensive ales and counting how many rubies were in the golden ornate masks he had plundered, the masks that spoke directly into his mind and told him to burn people alive and dress up like a nun. Ildak always liked Blood Bowl, so he decided to create a team with some of his wealth. Realizing his kinsmen were excellent warriors but poor craftsmen, Ildak hired out the best dwarf and human artisans to create The Edge, the Razor's home stadium. The Edge boasts room for 60,000 fans, impressive columns, gargoyles and other stone architecture, flush toilets in the bathrooms, luxury boxes and food from all over the Empire.

The elaborate stadium didn't initially draw in the crowds, but the Razors's play eventually brought in its fair share of fans. Ildak put onto the pitch the meanest, largest members of his army and so far these players have responded with victories. They still have a bit to learn about the finer points of the game (see their five ties), but are doing their best to figure out exactly what the ball is, why it's important to move it down the field and why one shouldn't give it to an opponent, even if said opponent promises to give it right back a few minutes later.
