My Mission Statement: I do not play to win at any cost, kill your players, destroy your team or foul as much as possible. I am not worried about my CR or W/L ratio. I play for fun and amusement. I will take opportunities given, but I will not throw a cheap foul just because.

The Court of Queen Xelxile was never known for the opulence of its halls, the size of its armies nor the piety of its priests. The rule of the Mahrakian Queen was reknown for the love of Bloodbowl, to such extent that even the young Queen herself would play. Then the contemporary thought of Khemrian players was that the best way to win a game was by maiming and killing all opposing players as quickly as possible. She challenged this belief, forcing her teammates to adopt new tactics such as picking up and running with the ball. Some scholars credit her as being the inventor of the Dump-Off pass, but this is heavily debated. She was mummified after her unfortunate and untimely death caught in the maw of a Kroxigor. The beast choked to death on her corpse, was entomed with her, and it's skull is now being used as the team banner. Her team rallied after her death and went on to win the East Desert Cup in her name. Returning from the game, they all perished in a freak sandstorm and were entombed with their Queen. The EDC rival coach, weather-specialist Slaan mage M'tork'a'bork'bork, was unavailable for comment.

Thousands of years later, Imperial archaeologist Mikael Barhit found the Queen's H'Iss'a'man MVP Trophy on the black market. He became enraptured of the young queen and the concept of the money to be made with her on the Bloodbowl circuit. After years of study he finally located the final resting place of the team. He used his evidence to secure backing from a small group of Imperial investors and abandoned his scholarly life to seek her out. His search proved fruitful and the tomb of the Queen was found just a few weeks after arrival in Mahrakia. When the final chamber was breached, the scholar had just enough time to see the visage of the Queen before she broke his neck. After all, a man should know not to wake a sleeping woman... they react poorly.

The Queen had Barhit ressurected to demand an explanation for his invasion. Upon learning of the widespread play of Bloodbowl, the Queen saw it as her task to recapture her glory days. She is especially intrigued by this 'new' concept of passing the ball downfield.
