Mayan Warriors

Once upon a time on the continent of Lustria there was a civilization that thrived and prospered in the times after the Slaan fell from pre-eminence.
A highly developed culture of humans that worshiped the gods of the heaven and underworld and thought to read their own future in the stars.

Their empire grew mighty indeed and expanded outward from their holy capital. Their wars against fellow humans were always bloody and after
their victories they celebrated to their gods with even more bloody sacrifices of their prisoners.

Eventually the Slaan became disturbed by this macabre practice and cursed the civilization with eternal bloodless life. With this curse their women
no longer sired any children and their enemies had suddenly gone from the nearby lands and the civilization crumbled and died out. Or so they
thought, but the curse of the Slaan still held them and when they died they woke up again us undead creatures craving blood, but also in need of
the forgiveness of their former enemies for only with that forgiveness would the curse be lifted.

But with their former enemies gone from their lands they had no idea where to find them and ask for their forgiveness so they sent out bands
of warriors and princes to find them, but in order to be allowed to travel the lands of the living they needed a disguise and so they founded a
blood bowl team so they would be given entrance to the land of the living in their quest for forgiveness.


Achivements:

1) The Mayan Warriors managed to surprise everyone by beating one of the absolute favorites to the Jomfru Cup II title, the Mendeleevs Elements by 2-0
