Deep in the woodland realm of Savelor lies the secret Spring of Eternal Youth. Those who drink from it are gifted with unnatural speed, agility and endurance. Ages ago, this magical water source was discovered by wandering elves and ever since it has been celebrated and revered as a holy place and a gift from the gods. However, rumors spread and pelgrims came in search for the spring's divine powers. At first they were all welcomed by the hospitable elves, since none should be denied access to this natural blessing. But as time passed by and stories grew wilder and spread amongst the realms, ever more adventurers came to seek for it and eventually some evil-spirited and greedy powermongers wanted to conquer the forest by force to have the spring all for themselves.

War broke out between the elves, who decided to defend their homeland, and the invaders, eager to gain sole control over the marvelous well. Although after a long and exhausting struggle the elves emerged victorious, too much blood had been spilled. Thus it was decided by the elders of the elves that the Spring of Eternal Youth would be protected from outsiders and the Forest Realm of Savelor would be shielded away from investigating eyes by the newly established Savelor's Sentinels!
