* The beginnings In the origins the team was composed of boys and girls. Every male Thrall who obtained a skill had the chance to ask one of the girls for a a date, and if the girls skilled they could date one of the Counts. If they skilled a double they could date Chief Sommelier Vlad. However, the violence of the sport has lately kept the girls from joining the team, so there are few of them right now. * The development Chief Sommelier Vlad quickly became the most fearful Big Guy in Stunty. While an amazing combination of doubles and stats increases turned him in a monster capable of frighten any opponent, the Counts grew stronger and Hypocaloric Hank trained to become a great Hail Mary passer. The game style of the team developed in a kill-and-throw way: first the bloodsuckers dealt with the carnage, then Hank threw the ball forward in a pitch stained with blood and littered with corpses. Sadly, Hank has now gone to retirement, so one of the Counts will act as ball carrier. Lately, after the Sommelier's death, the team is going through a serious and long rebuild. * The Fighting Cockerel Classic Never Bite on The First Date joined the FCC as one of the candidates for the final victory. However, their high TV resulted in massive inducements for their opponents, and the qualifying games were disappointing. They won their bracket only because their last opponent forfeited, but in the first game of the head-to-head phase they were defeated and shamed. They could have scored the winning TD, but a crucial mistake resulted in a complete failure. After having blitzed the ball carrier they decided not to grab the ball, only mark it with tackle zones. Then an AG5 Horror picked it, passed it to an advanced team mate and that was the end of it. *The Death Tour To teach the team a lesson the coach sent them on tour after the disappointing end of the FCC. They played ten of the bloodiest matches with rewards on their heads, and in the end Hank was crippled. Coach xNoelx and his Stick the Moot In managed to score the highest amount of points, and in reward xNoelx was turned into a Crypt Ghoul and had the chance to play with the team. Unfortunately he was crippled after few games and retired. *The Stunty Cup Stunty Cup was a nightmare for Chief Sommelier Vlad. In first game he was hit by a wizard and crippled, so in first game of Loser's Bracket the team put all its cash to hire Baron Von Spivakosky and replace him. But in second game of LB Gong the Giant Gorilla pushed him in the crowd and killed him. Apo patched him and he MNG, once again he didn't regenerate. Unfortunately, in the third game of LB the team was really short on cash, so they hired no stars. The three Counts did their best and literally smashed the Skinks, they were angry at Nuffle and screamed like wild beasts after every casualty inflicted, but that wasn't enough to avoid the loss. In the final press conference they said that with a bit of luck on Chief Sommelier Vlad's regen they could have made it to the final. *S.P.L.A.T. Season 2 They joined S.P.L.A.T. season 2 as normal team and were on the top of Biggest Bully Table for most of the time. Unfortunately, in the middle of the season Count Hemoglobin was killed and Count Jugular forced to retire after his second permanent injury, so the team lost great part of its bashing power and the final result was a bit disappointing. They achieved 10th place in Scoring Table with 14 touch downs, 4th place in Fanatic Table with 34 games played and 3rd place in Biggest Bully Table with 37 casualties. *The disappearing of the old ones, the rebuild and the Great Thrall Massacre After the deaths of Chief Sommelier Vlad and Count Hemoglobin and the retirement of Count Jugular all the players from the original roster were gone. The team found itself with few money, but was able to hire the second Strig Lord of its history and kept having good games, basically thanks to Count Bigbelly's bashing power and Count Nightmare's speed and ball-carrying skills. Slowly the new players started to feel more confident and the money went in the team's pockets, until the Great Thrall Massacre left them broke again, with great expenses to hire new thralls. The Rebuild continues. *The death of Bigbelly, the new counts and the positive record Count Bigbelly died in a game against some Chaos Halflings. The loss was so great that the team decided to hire two new Crypt Ghouls to replace him. Count Strange and Count Bloodflesh were their names, the rookies stepped into the business with a great responsibility. In that same game Count Nightmare became best scorer of all times in Stunty Leeg. Thanks to his massive amount of touch downs the team has now a positive record, but the rebuild continues. *The retirement and the return At one point, the team disappeared. Nobody knows why they retired or where they had gone, they just weren't there no more. Rumors spread about an evil necromancer or wizard, hired by evil opposing coach to banish them from this world. They were confined, lost, gone forever. Then, years later, Lord Borak was in need of help, he was old and getting weak and needed a new armor. And that was when these guys showed up giving their contribute. In reward, Lord Borak granted them permission to join the Leeg again. With two new Crypt Ghouls and three legends they started to play again, especially to allow to Count Nightmare to reconquer the title of best scorer of all times in Stunty Leeg, which he lost due to his long inactivity. Their come-back game was a massacre: they destroyed the Chaos Halfling team Gatzenjammer, gaining the first victory of the new era. *The death of Count Nightmare and the Necromiser Nightmare VI One of the best players ever appeared on the Stunty field, Count Nightmare was killed by a Nurgling lineman. His death left the team with no ball carrier and the team's performances dropped as NBOTFD struggled to find a replacement. A couple of ball carriers came and went, until Count Beast joined the team and seemed to develop the right skills. In the meantime the team joined the Necromiser Nightmare VI with the goal of finally winning a major. They played 26 games and their final score of 436 points put them in position #8 of the final table, but they were not drawn for the final phase of the tournament. *The 100th victory The team 100th victory came in game against Goblins in my Backyard!. The celebrations for this big event lasted a whole week and more than five hundred pints of blood were consumed during the seven-days-long party. Did You Know? The team's longest undefeated strike lasted 13 games. No Gems has vowed revenge on Never Bite on the First Date after this game. Though, so far the Gnomes haven't showed up yet. A violent feud between NBOTFD and the Skryre team 50 nuances de Skryre ended with two brilliant victories of the Strigoyan. Gone But Not Forgotten |
