Proud member of the Elf Masters. Goals: 1. Best of the kind, beat all other Dark elves in the league 2. Then beat the best of the bests, the best teams in the other 3 elven races. 1st game: Against Elves don't lie (Pro Elves). Won 2-0, but heavily injured. Lost a blitzer, and another was permed. Side step project is delayed. Next game will be tough. 2nd game: Against Guild of Fools and Joculators (Dark Elves). Both teams were beat up heavily, so it was a battle of linemen, rather than positionals. Won again 2-0, but this time actually winning the damage war. Easy win (read: lucky), the spider queen supported us against the opposition. (Guess they did something against Her liking.) After this win we are in the drivers seat for the postseason, as the leading dark elves in the league. 3rd game: Against Mighty blow Bashers (Pro Elves). Hit hard on defense, and forced the opponent to score. Then did a 8th turn score to equalize. That was the last score of the game as the slow cage grind in the 2nd half was halted after Mata Hari glitched (push/skull, frenzy hit skull, reroll skull), and the ball was popped lose after some dodging and 1d block on my carrier. Managed to recover the ball, but was unable to score. This was probably a bad effort considering the Steppers outmanned the Bashers by both KO and CAS. Nevertheless, the Steppers are in the postseason, does not matter the 4th round. So it is champaigne time! 4th game: Againts Vyperwood Vice (DarkElves). CAS on the opposite side. Could not take advantage of the blocking opportunities. When CAS did not come, it became visible that there was no backup plan. Back to video room. 5th game: Againts Vyperwood Vice (DarkElves). Same concept, different injury rolls. Won. Turning point was scoring in turn7, then riot moves back to turn 6. Opponent goes all in without reroll, but rolls critical 1. Then I score. 2-0 halftime ->concession. 6th game: Against Sons of Saphery (Pro elves). Ridiculus luck on the dark side. It was a bloody match, with the death of the Mighty Blitzer. On the other hand 2-3 opposite players were surfed, and it was not far away from pitch clearance. Total dicing. 7th game: Against Mighty blow bashers (Pro elves). Too much luck. Game started with a rock causing injuries to the tackled blitzer in the opposing team. Apo failed, player stayed outside. Then easy score in the 1st half. 2nd half started with a blitz, and sealed the game. On the other hand, this team has won the Season1, even with tons of luck. Lets see whether the luck is enough for the 2nd run. |
