Averheim is the capital of the Empire’s southernmost province, Averland. Due to its proximity, it has absorbed a huge number of attacks from Orc and Goblin forces and is known for producing strong, disciplined warriors. The region is famous for producing the finest steeds in the Empire, a fact that is prominently adopted by the university as their namesake. The Stallions have a proud history of blood bowl and had never finished a season below the .500 mark, though usually they fall into the second tier of teams. During the merger with the elven college teams, the Stallions went below .500 for the first time in history; whoever takes over will have to restore their proud tradition. The Stallions are back, and woe to any of the other C.B.B.A. colleges who get in their way! With an all new lineup, gathered from the most upstanding* students** who ever# attended## Averheim U. Led onto the pitch by a quartet already being spoken of as 'the Four f*#&in' Horsemen' in hushed tones around the locker rooms, the Stallions are looking forward to get their hands around the necks of the opposition...metaphorically speaking.
