STIRLAND
The Grand County of Stirland is a major and founding Imperial Province that lies within the eastern territories of the Empire of Man. Stirland is a rugged highland province famous for its rural backwater society and the province's close affiliation with death. Such attitude stems from the province close association with the province of Sylvania, a land perpetrated with misty forests and ancient castles resting on the craggy peaks like circling vultures.

Sirland play out of Wurtbad. Most other Colleges dislike to come to this part of the Empire. Some say that Stirland has started to allow Vampires to play for them and the fact that they refuse to play during the day only gives more credence to the theory.

COLLEGE
Stirland college, situated in the heart of the capital Wurtbad, was founded five centuries ago by Count Vlad "the Dominator" von Carstein, the wise leader of the von Carstein family in that days. 80 years later his "grandson" Vlad "the Slaughterer" donated the old city castle called "Nightfortress", which was the cityguards barrack before, to the university and under his son, Vlad "the Unpredictable" the college was given the duty of the cityguards, after they where involved in a riot against him (and all beheaded by vlad himself). Since those days the students study at daytime and patrol at night an Wurtbad was never that safe before. No more drunken young students at the streets, and regular criminals where afraid of the stealthy and very strict class representatives, children of the nobles of Stirland, who where judge and executioner in one person.
Nowadays the brutal methods of those times are no loger, but the old traditions are held up high. Students are still patroling by night and the young nobles are still known for their excellent watchfulness and might.
