The Bear Clutchers arrived in port but recently, and promoters have been pushing the team since their arrival. Wasting little time, a whole line of adorable merchandise has found their way into market bazaars, including drop bear toys that latch onto a child's leg for a fun game of tackle at home. Their top seller is a bear shaped beer holder that the the promoters refer to as a 'stubbie'. Given the odd accents of the team promoters, the small group of dedicated fans have already taken to calling themselves 'Beer Clutchers', waving their stubbies in the air during exhibition games.

Drop Bears
Although the smallest members of the team and infrequently in the center of the action, the team's cuddly Drop Bears are the face of the team, quite literally. These little furballs make most of the celebrity tours and receive most of the attention. Each player does have their own personality though.

Kangor
Although they comprise over half the team, the half dozen Kangors receive very little attention. They are close knit and are all sisters or cousins, and have several relatives who travel in their retinue. Yarrah and Patches, however recognize their importance and would be co-conspirators with the Kangors were there any sort of team mutiny.
