Team Bio Bruisers started out DLE in Season 1 under Coach Starshade, but after a poor season he parted ways with the franchise. After that Coach Kummo took charge for 7 Seasons bringing in some of the Bruisers most well known players. Now with Season 9 approaching Cowhead looks to bring his own unique style of coaching to take the Bruisers on to the next level. During his 1st season in charge of the Bruisers, Cowhead took the team all the way to the playoffs. Bruisers finished 4th in the League, coming top of SHC South. The team took heavy casualties along the way, entering the playoffs with a mostly rookie team. For season 10 Cowhead decided to completely restructure the team, keeping only 2 players over from the previous year. Cowhead took over as Head Coach of the Bruisers for Season 9 of DLE. He had previously managed the Griffins in Season 2 but after an alleged run in with the law, due to misplaced funds, he spent some time "overseas" (3 years with good behavior). How he managed to weasel his way back into the DLE is anyone's guess. It is rumoured that family connections to the Estalian trading commission were a big factor in his appointment. Many people believe Cowhead to be up to his old tricks again, as his 1st act as coach of the Bruisers was to bring in Deforest Buckner from his old team. In what can only be said to be a trade which flaunts the current DLE trading laws. Cowhead had a large scale makeover of the Bruisers only keeping 6 players from the team he took over. He traded out 5 of the Bruisers on takeover and released another 5. 6 new faces were brought in through some ambitious trading and he drafted in 4 fresh faced players giving the bruisers a fresh new look for Season 9. |
