On 23 Eleint in 1372 DR, the city of Maerimydra was sacked by the half-fiend Kurgoth Hellspawn and his army of goblins, ogres, fire giants and daemons. Most of the Drow inhabitants of the city were killed or enslaved, with some escaping into the surrounding Deep Wastes. Now forced to hunt on their own, forced to prey on the lesser races without the security of their city, these Drow founded the Drow Hunters, using the Blood Bowl fields to gain new honour, wealth, and glory. |
