Emerald Dragoness 4th game
In their 4th game (http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2677356), the Emerald Dragoness faced off Human Team "I Brutti Ceffi" coached by Psyko88.
The Humans received first and after a bad kick put the ball to the thrower. Howver, nuffle turned on the humans as the first block received a double skull and badly hurt on that 1d block.
In return i received a double 1 as i tried a gfi to pressure the ball right away. Afterwards the human team tried to break through my right side (up) and received a KO by the elves. Then the Humans made a run for it bringing a blitzer close to the goal line the pass however failed. I had pressured a little to much and could not get a 2d block on the blitzer, so I put some TZ on the ball and did some blocking.
The blitzer was able to blitz one of the tz Lineman (pow of course), pick up the ball in the tackle zone (4+) and dodge (3+) for the td on turn 4.
My offence drive did not look good since I was going for a fast equalizer. However the humans injured a lineman and I skulled on a misplay (1d block). Afterwards I had problems to get my elves free that left my ag5 Lineman stranded in the opponents half. Luckily the foul failed, I was able to score in the 7th.
In the second half I received a quick snap that I could not make big use of. My plan for the half was to throw some passes and score as late as possible. However, some early 1s made me stumble to get the ball into a safe position. Luckily I was able to drive the ball to my left side (down) and get the ball out of harms away. I also got an important KO on the human thrower who was the closest player to the ball.
Afterwards I was able to get the ball down the lane and into a safe pocket aiming for the goal line. I took a small risk in passing on turn 8, it worked however and i was able to win 2:1.
