The Muse fail in the second round of the Royal Rookie Rumble
In the second round of the Royal Rookie Rumble (http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2681019), Kissed by the Muse faced Tesifonte's Dwarven Rookie Rumblers.
The Dwarves are a typical frontloaded team having only a FanFactor of 1. As the dwarfs advanced on the die roll, I was hoping a little more towards a Nurgle Rotters team.
The game was rather redicolous because of the match-up (Amazons facing dwarfs).
I received first hoping to maybe get a score in, but really without much hope. I also gave away handycap so a dwarf was selected as a Knuckleduster (receiving mighty blow for the game).
The Muse were unable to advance the ball but received heavy casualties during the first half.
This continued in the second half leaving only 3 Muses at the end of the half. Of course the dwarves were going to collect additional spp so they took it to overtime as they missed a pass.
Also of course, I gave my opponent some crap for delaying and for fouling an already beaten amazon team due to the redicolous match-up. I will not understand why it is necessary to keep on fouling when you already won that's just not the way I understand a competitive game.
Sadly I would have liked to find out if he is a better coach or not. However due to the match-up, we have to postponed that decision.

Zons VS Dorfs... No new Zon team stands a chance vs Dorfs. AV7 Dodgers vs an entire team of Block / Tackle... Doomed from the offset. That couldnt have been much fun... I blame Tesi (cheep git!) ;-p

What can I say.
I made the typical ff1 dwarf team for the RRR.

I failed a pickup in the end (I wanted trollslayer to score), leading me to OT. So not a failed pass. I really felt like Naamaing because of the moans during the whole game (despite the fact those zons dodged better than an agi5 two headed gutter runner)...

I really wanted to get 2 TD's but I just couldnt pick up the ball.

I got a handicap because my first oppo just didnt appeared to play our game (17days missing), thats why my team was totally rookie.

Belca you were beaten by a superior coach. Even though zons lose their dodge in most situations, they are still more mobile and they still have better ag.
This is just whining. I have seen plenty of zon teams beating dwarves to know that tackle ISNT-THE-END-OF-THE-WORLD!!!
Zons are a hardcore team against ALL other teams (well, only about average against CDs, but they also have better movement), so when picking zons you ask for it.
If tesifonte hadnt fouled (in the beginning) he could easily have lost this match. Remember his tacklers are all ma 4. The higher movement players havent got tackle.
I vote for tesifonte to play zons against some of your dwarves, just to prove you wrong.
