I played the game of a desperate coach, and got paid. It was a fun and exciting game, and could've gone the other way with different dice

Definitely an unexpected win for the gobbos following that start. :O

I think the luck evens out, the difference was that I was very unlucky in the start (snakes on the chainsaw, following a failed handoff the next turn), while your unluck happened later when failing a gfi to score, and failing crucial dice that would stop my scorer.
Even if your play is perfect, your dice aren't always so.

I think in turn 1 you should have blocked the fanatic, when it's knocked over it is automatically out.
Not getting 3 dice on the ball in turn 5 was an obvious mistake.
Not sure why you didn't move into contact with the gobbos in turn 12.
When you knocked the ball lose turn 15 I think you should have pushed the pogo to the sideline and tried for a throw in.
But it's all minor things, overall you did pretty well.
Although another thing is that at 1560k team value you should really have 1-2 tacklers.
