Once upon a time...
Blog huh. Hm where to start.

I never got to play BB on TableTop (none of my group where interested in much else besides AD&D and Battletech). Though that looks to change as soon as I get some free time on Saturdays...uhuh!

So now I have found FUMBBL and I am slowly learning the rules.

Blocking is coming along OK. Combining Assists to get a Chain of 2 dice blocks is becoming easier (Though Nuffle seems to want me to learn the hard way - I rarely cause Stuns or Injuries / and other RNG based outbursts).

Playbook development is coming along OK. I still have an issue with high Speed Teams though. But in General the ideas are coming through and I learn something most of the time.

Utilising Cages and clearing Paths still takes some time though. That can be seen in the low amount of Points I have yielded. I can get close. No realy! ;)

ATM I am finding the community incredibly helpfull. I have not seen so much patience in an Online Community before, especially where your competing against each other.

Glad to have you on Fumbbl. I think the key to high speed teams is, when playing with one, to have a method to score very quickly and a method to score more methodically, and to focus a lot of your learning on defense.

What you'll find with the speedy teams is that scoring isn't a problem, but then you're on defense, you can't stop the other team, and all your players end up in the injury box.
