THE SECOND COMING!
So, like I said I'm going to keep updating this when there is a lull in the action packed adventure that is my life.

I suppose I want people to view it as A journey through (and hopefully up) everything that fumbbl has to offer, I'm a relative newbie, and I guess this will be a living guide to how to get on and hopefully succeed within fumbbl.

So where was I? Oh yes, the discovery of SkiJunkie and Fumbbl. Originally, I had planned on downloading another computerised version of BB, the officially endorsed version brought out in the mid/late 90's. I remembered getting it on a previous computer and enjoying the pixellated graphics, overhead view and amusingly bad cut scenes almost as much as playing the game itself! Fate (and AOL) would not let me gain access to this game however. But whilst searching for it, I came across SkiJunkies applet instead.

I downloaded it more out of curiosity than anything else, and almost instantly thought, "well this isn't as good as the other one. Kudos to the guy who made it though!". At first I was playing simply stand alone games, against myself. I figured it would give me a better idea of the tactics I could employ with my woodies on the TT games. Sure enough, I came to realise that SkiJunkies game was almost identical to the TT game... So identical, that I kept defeating myself with the opposing team :(

Over a few games, I became to realise that this was actually BETTER in many ways than the now obsolete "official" game. It was just like having the TT game, but on my computer! It became my most preferred Idling Aid, whilst waiting for a particularly big download or simply when there was nothing much happening in general, into BB i would go and proceed to thrash myself!

After about a week however, i felt the need to play against someone other than yours truly. Cue a quick Google search for "Online Skijunkie Blood Bowl games". The result, of course, was Fumbbl. And as soon as I was on the site, I registered... Only to be told my account was disabled due to the internet apparently being so full of Rabies and Scrofula that I'm not allowed any fun at all.

After a week of correspondence with the Admin staff (Stirling chaps btw ;p) I of course became Game Legal... And that my friends, is the beginning of this wonderful romance... I am a geek again. :D
