Operation "Go down BBR"
Well, this is my blog about me lowering my BBR.
"How", you do ask? That's VERY simple, just play non bashers in the blackbox and see how easy it is to be succesfull with that task! Mine dropped from somewhere above 150 to under 125 (124.98) in just about 50 (51 to be exact) games by playing just Elves and, in my case, Vampires! "Sweet, lowering this overrated number of more than 0.5 per game isn't that bad" might be your thought, so I just ask: "Can you do better"?
In the past i played several Races (just speaking about the box here), but mainly bashers like Chaosdwarves. The Box went FFB and i enjoyed the enviroment... Then all those CPOMB-Teams came up, and I was really fed up with their playstyle, i thought it had nothing to do with skill to smush your opponent into the ground, using rr's on every non-pow block to increase the rate of destruction. It kind of reminded me of the old LRB-4 Khemri with as many DP's as possible. Just boring... and stupid to play against (for me at least).
But this Blog ain't about another hate-talk about CPOMB, it's about my fantastic way to lower the BBR!
So i decided to only play teams without any MB / Claw / PO and still be compatative. (So no Skaven, Underworld, any Team with a BigGuy) I went with my (already existing) Highelves, played my new Vampires (wow, they really improved with LRB 6), had some games with (old) Darkies, Pro-and Woodelves.
What did i learn, you might ask? Well, i learned that i'm not a genius coach (i already new that), that i should stop hugging pixels (damn, they really die fast) and that many blackbox coaches aren't very creative in teambuilding and would not get any game in ranked.
And: After the first wave of CPOMB teams more and more coaches realise that there are different ways to play in the box, i see more and more Elves up there in the high-TV area (but i kind of don't meet them very often:-) ).

Thx for your Attention, may the Box win more and more variety and remember the task: get your BBR as low as possible, i would love to read about your (low) BBR in the comments!

142 for me....I usually play my HE for a month and my Lizzies for a month though alternating though.

I tend to drop down to about 125-130 BBR with my HE, and up to around 150 when using Lizzies.

My BBR stopped dropping rapidly as my elves got more and more blodge. Killstack teams often tend to take tackle as a low consideration, so you survive a *lot* longer once you've got Blodge (which means you don't lose the cas war as badly!)

BBR measures how awesome you are, why would you want to reduce it???

"and that many blackbox coaches aren't very creative in teambuilding and would not get any game in ranked."

How true...

Courtesy (and sportmanship) is straight out the window with the ease of play.
