Season 18 is finished, and saw the (inevitable) rise of C division and the near demise of the Blackbox as we know it. With the launch of Competitive, suddenly all teams were 1000 tv and full of rookies, and that was reflected in an overall difficulty in scoring points for the Throne. On the other hand, we can all pick and choose our games in the brave new world, at least until the reborn black box arrives. Also, seasons will change the meta again and we can expect to see fewer and fewer high spp players... and on the other hand again, it's possible using random skills that some teams will have high ranking players after only a few games.

Still, season saw an increase in # of stunty games played, an all-time high number of teams in the group, and all of 28 teams with logged kills, 18 of which were from C division.

The Chibi Samurai of Blackbox division bagged a superstar chaos beastman early on in the season and grabbed a third championship title in the Throne of Blood, despite only playing 4 games. We will see what happens after a possible future migration of blackbox teams into a brave new world of 2020.
