FUMBBL :: Online Blood Bowl League

With Season 24 in the bag, the commissioner looks back on two good years of stunties celebrating the art of the Kill. We got off to a running start with lockdowns implemented around the world as we saw the first wave of Covid 19 in the second quarter of 2020, and Fumbbl had more games played in those months than they have had in many years. We have also had the pleasure of playing in the new 2020 ruleset since the second half of 2021. And as of this season, ToB is the largest metagroup on Fumbbl with well over 300 teams registered!

Special mention to the Chigobblo Bears who killed TWO legend players but only got credit for the one as both were from ogre teams (including Legend gnoblar Gowa). Those are the rules!

Ogres took the throne this season as well, making it a fifth consecutive season win for ogre teams. Still, goblins were a close second place this season, and my halflings bagged a LOT of kills, just not valuable enough to make it past fourth place.

Season 24 saw a rise in total # of kills from 96 to 175, probably reflecting that the group included some teams that got a LOT of time on the pitch. My Omicron flings got in 69 of those games...

I have committed to playing stunty lizards and stunty underworld exclusively as my C teams in season 25, and dare anyone to join me in this endeavour. Rule is you can't roster sauri or rats (except rat ogres). Induced star players or mercs are OK.

Membership in the Throne is as ever, retroactive. Next season has started, and we welcome all stunty coaches to join in the battle for the Throne.
