And....I lost
Prov beat me 2-1 in OT. I really beat myself up for about 10 minutes afterwards, after I scored T8, I lined up deep and put up no defense for Prov's OTT. After thinking about it, the match still could have ended up like it did. I got a very very lucky blitz to surf a skink to prevent Prov from winning in regulation. Overtime, up in men 8-7, I moved one beastmen by the ball, then blocked....double skulls. That was basically it. Aside from some shoddy play by myself, my teams problem is the same as it was before the tourney, not enough "elf defense". Sure, these were skinks, but its about the same thing. Back to the drawing board I guess, although this one stings.

2 tacklers and 1 DT guy should normally be enough against lizards.
I only specced part of the game, but seeing both your tacklers out early may well mean you just failed to protect them?

The ball carrier, my primary tackler, got zapped by the wizard. -ag apo'd to mng. The other tackler got isolated by the krox early on, eventually taken out. It made me realize how much I lean on my ball carrier, with ag4 he is generally my safety on defense.
