From the looks of it (didn't see it), it wasn't quite domination; 4-3 score, 5-3 TDs; but you still lost and that's all that matters.

I certainly needed good dice to win, and I got below average dice at best. But we had chances to win, I made a few mistakes and his team made more plays.

I'd was a rather un-bashy affair for a bunch of AV7's running around with MB/Tackle prevalent on both sides.

Heat played a major role, but I think the elves got the worst of it.

Like many high-speed, high-AG games, it came down to breaks on defense, or lack thereof. Woodies got the odd break and that was the game.
