The first match for the Grandfather's Blessings resulted in a victory! Challenged by a halfling team, the game went about as well as could be expected. Great Grandfather Shlugorth caused 3 casualties (2 by blocking, 1 kill saved by apothecary) and generally proved to be effective at holding 'flings in place to be swatted. Immaculate Infection scored both touchdowns and trained Sure Hands to help preserve RR on offense, while credit was given to two other beastmen for causing injury during the match.
Winnings were 50k which will be saved towards either the 1st Rotter or a RR, depending on the outcome of the next match. Grandfather Nurgle and Nuffle both approved of this game, and the legend of the Blessings has begun to grow. You could say that it's infectious.... :D
