Posted this somewhere in the forum yesterday, and don't want to lose it. Njoy!
NUFFLE's SKULL Compendium:
1) When you overlook your opponent's guard and get a 1db, that will definitely be a SKULL.
2) Turn 8, u have the ball in scoring distance, the score is a tie and you decide "what the heck, i'll make one last block", that, too, will be a SKULL.
3) If you make a 3db with a Big Guy, they will roll, not just 1 skull, but triple SKULLS.
Amendments:
3a) If your Big Guy attempts to do this with a Blitzing action, the Negative Trait will fail.
3b) Any blitz requiring a GFI will fail before the SKULL has an opportunity to be rolled. In the rare occassion that a RR is used to save the player from failing the GFI, then a SKULL will definitely be rolled.
4) Same as 3, but if it's a mummy in question, the rerolled triple SKULLS will also result in triple SKULLS .
5) If your CR is under 140, then after your 10th POW you also roll a SKULL, rerolled to a SKULL, that's called bad luck.
6) If you wasted a reroll previously in the turn on an unessential Block, rerolling double pushbacks to a POW, be aware that your best positional, not only will SKULL, but will be Seriously Injured or RIPed in the process.
7) If your player doesn't have the Block skill, your rerolled 1db will, with 82.5% accuracy, result in a Both Down result
8) If your opponent makes a -2db on your Big Guy, expect a Both Down result, but your Big Guy will be injured, whereas that pesky elf won't even break his 7av.
9) When choosing between blocking your opponent's lineman or his positional first, know that if you choose the positional you will roll SKULLS, whereas if you choose the lineman, not only will you roll a POW, but also injure that player.
10) When attempting to Crowd Surf any player, you will always roll SKULLS.
I'm sure i missed a few...
