for me I would say the only two choices are block or jump up. probably block first, but a solid argument can be made for jump up.

Block if it's a Fling, +ST if it's a Woodie

I am along the lines of mrt1212 though I look at it more is it Stunty or Ranked. Since it's a Ranked Halfling team, I would go +ST. Never know when you'll see a St6 Oger (or other big guy) so the 7 is still an advantage. You can (hopefully) add block later on different doubles.

Sod it, let's go ST7. It'd be a laugh if nothing else.

Do you like Deep Root?

Getting 3dbs without assists against ST 3 is just awesome. And it makes it really hard to get 2dbs against him, even with ST 4.

the amount of times i see people making terrible tactical mistakes by trying to block a tree with all their players - i'd take +st

What Rabe said.

and let's wait for St8
Posted by Arktoris on 2016-02-16 03:40:25
take ST now, and block on the next doubles

BTW I don't believe that Jump up +2mv works well at all.
Previously I found that you still had to have the normal difficulty at getting up, then you were free to move 2 squares.
Surprised that people arn't saying Pro. Pro counters take root, can be used to throw the halfling and stand up.
