Cyanide BB
Yesterday I bought Cyanide´s Blood Bowl. I was going to get Fall Out 3 but they were fresh out of it, so I decided I´d give some of my hard earned money to Jervis Jonson.
I have only played 2 games so far, but I´m not exactly impressed. The graphics are kind of cool, but the 3D view isn´t very helpful when trying to picture what is going on on the field. The menus are not particulary usable and the AI is appaling. Even at "difficult" level it keeps making absurd 1D blocks and moving players away from the action for no apprent reason.
The comments are amusing... for approximately half a match. After that they become really repetitive.
To make matters worse the Spanish translation (I had no choice living in Madrid) is a monument to sloppiness.
All I kept thinking was how great fumbbl is and how crappy this game is. I just signed up for a PayPal account (no, I did not have one) and, as soon as it´s active I´m donating to fumbbl the same amount I spent on this questionable game. It was about time.
Update: I managed to change the language to English, thank Nuffle.
Update2: And you can´t acces the sound menu while a game is in progess! WTF!
Update 3: Donation completed!

Indeed, fallout 1 & 2 are awesome, fallout 3 was just good. And i'm personally giving cyanide another chance when the legendary edition comes out. But until then i have to agree, and i really wanted to like that game.

Admittedly I just felt like getting some game, any game. And, as Lobossumi put it: "I really wanted to like Cyanide BB".

I had looked forward to the Cyanide game until I heard the reviews (of knowledgeable people, mostly FUMBBLers) and realized what a travesty is was.
Personally, Starcraft 2 is eating into my BB time right now, and things will only get worse in a couple weeks when Civ V comes out (I've already pre-ordered). It had been quite a while since a computer game sucked me away from FUMBBL, but now there's 2 in the span of a couple months.

Cyanide Blood Bowl will be outdated because the bring out Blood Blow 2. And than the old version you can thow into the trash can. Also the old Version is not supported since month. Full of Bugs and they will never fix those bugs.

I think it is sad the way companies sell their products. I seen this over and over again with computer games. Release a half-finished game, make a couple of patches and then leave it unsupported when it stop selling.
If other companies only could be like Blizzard and make a finished game before releasing it. But if Blizzard had the BB rights we probably would still be waiting for the game while they perfected it.

Cyanide screwed up from the start when they wasted their time doing real-time version of the game. Total waste of resources. They could have made the game much more better if they weren't wasting time goofing with useless crap.
