Help?
I know this is the wrong place to be asking for technical help but i am a technophobe. I havent been on FUMBBL for about 8 months, life got in the way, but was talking about it at work today and i got bitten by the bb bug again. So i thought i would get a quick fix tonight, but it didnt work out as planned. When i played previously the board would open instantly now its asking me to open the game and when i do i couldnt start a game or join one (it said wrong password) i do have the latest java installed. Am i missing something really simple or does anyone know what im doing wrong? or do i have to go into my loft and dust off my BB board and try to get one of old my (now married) BB buddies to come out of retirement to get my BB fix?

If its the first time opening the new client you will sometimes get the wrong password message, just close and launch again and it should sort it out.

try and use the spectate link on the games page. the application will download, so make sure to have that javaws file somewhere on your disk not protected by admin rights.i guess that's it, someone will link a forum entry or post the solution here later - if you didn't make it by then.

yeah just close it and press play next to the team. Sometimes if you just wait in game, it clears by itself.

In my experience the "wrong password" message appears often if I let a few minutes pass between starting the client (for spectating) and clicking to close the welcome screen
