thats the case.

It sounds like you have got the 3rd edition teams :)

you can still buy them now from GW specialist games section, so check there to confirm, but its still a nice find if ya got them cheap :)

yeah bought them for aprox 1 dollar pr figur

skaven deal: 2 blitzers,1 rogre,3 gutters 1 thrower 7 linemen.

In the chaos dorf deal: there was 4 chaos dorfs + 3 chaos dorfs with a gunthingy and 7 hobgoblins.

You won't be able to upload the pics to the site directly (as they're GW). The figures as Garion said are almost definitely 3rd ed and date from around 94-96ish, however as Garion also said, could have been produced from anytime after that, and I'm not aware of any of them being OP.

The only other range of Skaven and Chaos Dwarfs are 2nd ed. Dating from 1989. CDs are easy to tell the difference, they are like miniature chaos warriors, with face masks (instead of big hats and oiled ringlet beards. The 2nd ed skaven team didn't have a Rogre, so almost certainly they aren't 2nd ed. 2nd ed skaven have catchers and kickers and have intricate helmets/face masks. 3rd ed have gutter runners and the rogre.

From your description they are 3rd ed figures, no doubt. The gun is a blunderbuss figure from the warhammer range, which ran alongside the BB range.

yep it is the 3rd ed figures i got :) but still a pretty good deal as they are in great pristine condition, considiring they had just been laying around in his basement for 15 years :)

Massively good deal.

@harvestmouse: I heard that GW minis posted are fair game now, as they are not represented by FUMBBL... merely as individual's work. Check with some other folks but I think he can post pics... FUMBBL just can't use them as defacto images.

Good deal regardless!! Go minis!!

my understanding is they have to be hosted somewhere else then can be posted here. so if you use photobucket to store them then you can post them in a blog or whatever. I may be wrong though.

@Jeffro: I have not been informed that is the case, so until it is, I'll keep to the policy I know. Also the last I spoke about the matter to Christer (whether it was ok to upload GW miniatures, painted by the person who uploaded the pic and marked the pic being uploaded, that was the case) it was a definitive and categorical no, so I'd be surprised if the policy has changed.

Just one point, the 2nd edition skaven did have a Rogre. This guy: http://wattswargames.blogspot.co.uk/2010/11/blood-bowl-2nd-edition-rat-ogre.html
