Chuck Versus Blood Bowl ready for FUMBBL Cup
My Blackbox chaos team Chuck Versus Blood Bowl finished their rebuild and now look to be ready for FUMBBL Cup. They were at about TV 1500 as late as last week, but with a torrent of games since then, they now stand at TV 2440. The last skill to the team was tentacles on the ST 5 chaos warrior, which could prove to be very helpful against elves or any other dodgy buggers. Of course, three clawbombs and a MA 8, AG 4 ball carrier could be an asset as well.
After this intensive build up, I expect to lose in game 1 against a team with 1 million in inducements. That said, if I do get far, I hope to face some famous teams and maybe help some old LRB 4 ranked teams reduce their TV bloat. :) If nothing else, it would be fun to see Jill Roberts, the second oldest Blackbox player, die on the pitch in the tournament.

I see the prep meant a few losses whilst I was away.
The first time I was #1 on one of the silly ranking lists, I had to make it go away with Ogres. See what you've done? ;)

Yeah, I had my worst streak yet with this team there and dropped to #12 or so in the BWR lists, then bounced back in the end. I wouldn't have minded staying there in obscurity, but it was not to be. :(
Maybe I can start a new team now that my chaos are frozen and waiting for the tournament? Maybe something silly that will me drop me off the top 10 lists? Perhaps it's time to go to my first FUMBBL race, woodies!

That's not a bad idea either. Humans would put me out of my comfort zone and they would certainly sink my BWR. :)

Got two box teams I'm trying to get ready for the Cup. CD's, with one superstar, a niggled clawpomber, and very little else. 3 Rookie Blockers. The other, my old Chaos team Wrecked Right, has 9 perms spread out, but with six 4 ST players they may have the best chance to make a run. CD's is who I want, but not sure they can get ready in time.

JigerJones: Your CDs will always be somewhat competitive thanks to that monster bull, but you're right that their blockers are lacking at the moment. I also think that your chaos might be the better bet if you can't improve the CDs in time.
