It's been a while since my
Ornbarad Sylvan Seekers have had a wardancer worth talking about. Since mighty
Ophidion left us, the team has limped along with various nondescript players trying to fill his shoes. For a team that went 101 games with a +ST, Mighty Blow wardancer, it's been a return to mediocrity.
Sure, the team has it's stars... agile catcher
Stretch has a decent shot at making legend... if he stops handing off to rookie wardancers. Fan Favorite
Redwood is more than just a 230tv roadblock, he's a massive target that keeps the opposition busy. Don't forget
Foxtrot III, the meanest elf ever to play for Ornbarad, and he's just getting started.
Sadly, none of the wardancers to join the team since Ophidion have stepped up.
Rally played with the legend, and wasn't a bad sidekick... but failed to achieve much in his 12 games and 43 SPP.
Crank was an identical player to Rally, and also played alongside the legend, lasting 20 games and 43 SPP.
Dread fared even worse... failing to take advantage of his gift of mighty blow, lasting only 5 games and scoring 8 SPP.
Dice was a huge disappointment, and made it through 10 games, scoring 24 SPP... and finally there was
Voodoo, a veteran of only 8 games and 20 SPP. Five wardancers. 11 skill-ups, one double, and no stats. Guess we're still paying nuffle for his generosity in the past.
For a team with 3 past wardancer legends, and a tradition of +ST monstrosities, the team has fallen on hard times. Will the first (and only) Wood Elf team to have two, and then three wardancer legends ever see a fourth? Today there is hope. Despite losing Voodoo in our third game against
Angry Newscasters, the team once again has a promising youngster. It wasn't +ST, or even +AG... but the desperate fans of Ornbarad are happy to see some promising talent once again.
Jive may never scale the heights of Clutch, Ophidion, or Jax... but he's the most talented wardancer Ornbrarad has seen in a good long time.
In Jive we trust. GO SYLVAN SEEKERS.
