Doesnt seem too diverse to me. On the other hand, it would be intersting to see how the racial diversity is in the [R] majors.
I expect more wood- and darkelves- though.

only one darkie? jeez

I would expect orc, chaos and dwarf to top the list on the basis of the racial distribution from black box central.
Khemri have a low turn out relative to that whilst Chaos dwarf are I think slightly high. the only ones that are at any significant odds with the racial distribution of [B] in general are the High and Dark Elfs, especially the Dark Elfs, who should have a much greater presence in the tournament.
A detail comparison to other division's tournaments? I have no idea, though I would think the other tournaments see a higher turnout from "lighter" teams, merely because they are easier to maintain at a higher level in other divisions due to the greater ability to choose games.

It's almost exactly how I would expect it to look.
Most of the races have around 4% turnout, form the number of active teams in the division.
The only thing that surprises me, is the lack of undead teams in the major.

Comparison of the racial spread in the tourney and in the Box in general. The number behind the race is the percentual difference between the distribution in the cup and the distribution in general. E.g. there are 81.7% more orcs in the cup than expected from the box. There are only half the high elves in the cup than you`d expect from the box.
Orc 81.7
Chaos 40.8
Dwarf 58.7
Chaos Dwarf 114.7
Khemri 11.7
Skaven 24.5
Wood Elf 29.2
Human -8.6
Ogre -38.8
Nurgle's Rotters 13.9
High Elf -52.5
Dark Elf -74.5

But, what's worse - there are no Norse!

A dry addition form me:
I think these numbers reflect a combination of what coaches have been able to build WITH what they think will win.

box and this tournie distribution roughly resembles what most feared in such an environment. A strong pull towards the bashier races.

I brought orcs because they were the team I thought I could get major ready in a month.
Next major I hope to bring my darkies. 3 months is a more realistic timeframe for me to make them major ready.
Building woodies sounds tough in the box, so respect to those who have managed! They will be my project when my darkies are completed.

For whom it concern:
The B vs R discussion is getting boring guys.
R is for the people who like to control their opponents, B is for those who like the challenge of not.
Get over it.

@ neophyte: Then this must be your lucky day, since three of the top four races can field them. \o/

I think most tourneys are huge orc fests... Orcs are the powergamer's wet dream... No big surprise. Most of us want to win... And then even more of us try to powergame to win. Just people playing the odds.
I refuse to coach orc, dorf, or khemri in the box, as I feel they are overpopulated; I play vs them too often.
When LRB 5 is in effect, you'll see the woodies & other fragile races flourish, methinks.
It is a sad day when rotters outnumber the elves though :(
