100 Rotten Matches
Oh no, this isn't a complaint about dice ^^
A small milestone has been passed: the Rotten Luck Rovers an all-rotter side have finished their 100th match!
What has the team accomplished? They've managed to train two super-star rotters(there hasn't been a legend rotter yet!) & acquire 29 new recruits(*cough* most of whom promptly died). Oh, and we're currently tied with Legendary Infestation for the richest Nurgle team with 3,580,000 gold (watch your back Cranberries!). Sure there's room for improvement as their 39/12/49 record might suggest, but hey! they're only rotters after-all.
Some observations:
-Rotters can dish it out as their Cas Diff: 68 (133/58/38 - 42/74/45) suggests, but Decay means they take it worse. The rotters are BH 26% KI 28% & SI 46% of the time they're injured and that's a big wrinkle in their long-term development.
-they seemed to do best around 130 TV with a couple of developed star rotters and around 13 or 14 rotters. The highest TV was 153 after which we were promptly reduced to TV 93 after the deaths of both super-star rotters in back-to-back matches. Since then we've been struggling through a re-build.
So what should the next goals be for the team? Any ideas? :)

Idk why, but Rotters are one of my favorite players, maybe because they are an underdog type and I've had a couple pretty cool ones myself.

Huff, one of his superstars had claw.
Amusing team. Well done Rbthma. Players like the move 3 kick off return guy can't be helping your win rate much. But they certainly have character.

Congrats on getting to 100 games, really puts my 12 games with my rotter team to shame. Must try harder.
Goals:
get a rotter to 100 games
legend (obvs)
see if Putrescent Pigskin Punter can live long enough to get 2 of every stat decrease - surely nobody has ever done that. Although it's somewhat out of your hands

I was the opposing coach for that 100th match, and it was quite entertaining. I initially underestimated the all rotter team, but block is a good skill. By the second half, my skaven had lost the attrition war. Surprisingly good team despite the all the long term injuries.

thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, I've had a few claw players actually - only one stuck around for any length of time & I've been meaning to build another but have been stuck in a re-build for a bit now.
Getting a rotter to legend is a goal I'd like to do & I'm pretty sure that would take care of getting one to 100 matches, they just need to live long enough O_o
The other thing I was thinking was trying to recruit one of every team available, then try & get all positions available - so far the dwarves refuse to succumb to the rot.
@ Sal: that was just the dice turning. If you take a look at my previous 2 matches I took a pretty good beating, but thanks for taking it with grace ^-^.

Yeah, keeping a -MA x 2 player isn't ideal but like you said garyt1 it's more the team fluff - I need to save every gold piece to beat that akaRenton fella's zombie treasury. He's also the current oldest player on the team.
