New to Blood Bowl? Struggling with the basics?
We are accepting applications to the 145 open-round robin tournament due to start on Feb. 27th! That's next Wednesday. You can enter one team (LEAGUE only please) with a maximum TW(Tournament Weight) of 120

What is the 145 League?
The 145 League is a league designed primarily for coaches who are new to Blood Bowl, who are struggling with the basics of blocking and caging and wish to learn the game amongst coaches of a similar level. If you are not sure about your eligibility, or aren't a new coach but have a particular area you wish to improve in jump on our discord channel and ask(see links below).

A staple of the League is the open round-robin tournament which runs about a month where coaches can arrange the matches casually. These matches are usually arranged in a PM thread or on our discord channel.

The 145 League will also intermittently run tournaments that mimic some of FUMBBL's main tournaments such as Royal Rookie Rumbles and KO tournaments - these help adjust coaches to the intricacies of scheduled matches.

We also provide general advice on team building and development as well as match reviews as needed. Check out our pinned links on the discord channel for articles about how to improve your coaching!

How do I get started?
First, create a team in the League division (for new coaches we recommend Orcs/Humans/Undead usually), then apply them to the 145 Leagues and Tournaments group by clicking the banner below and navigating to the Teams tab. Select your team from the drop down menu and hit Apply for membership. The team must be readied, and not taking part in another tournament. We recommend joining the Official FUMBBL discord Server then the 145 League channel as well.

New to the site or the game entirely? Then join 145 today!
Great environment to start and get the idea of either the game or how the site works or both, plus get to start meeting other people on here at the same time.

I think someone has already shared it - when the link is reposted it grabs my coach pic and someone said I have a "soul-less gaze" :/

For the record, it's a camping pic and I was probably extremely drunk!

Oh, also coaches please read the requirements...especially the parts about the TW (Team Weight) needing to be 120TW or under and the team being in the League division!

I’ve played a lot of BB a couple years ago with family but I am still new to competitive matches. I’ve made my first Blackbox team but I am wondering if I would still qualify for 145 considering I have prior knowledge and just want to win a competition. Thoughts?

Ragamuffin:

As I noted in the description above..." If you are not sure about your eligibility, or aren't a new coach but have a particular area you wish to improve in jump on our discord channel and ask"

Since you have no replays, I can't really see where you are at as a coach - we could run through a match in test-mode or league and I'll have a good idea of where you are at and what challenge is needed. I like to keep the 145 mostly (70% or more) really new coaches, and I get a lot of experienced coaches applying with goblins, etc. There's only 40 spots in the tournament, so I have to be a bit picky about them, and understand their motivations. That said, the goal for coaches in the tournament shouldn't be winning - it's open round-robin so it will generally go to the coach that arranges/plays the most. The goal is for new coaches to meet other coaches they enjoy playing against, get introduced to FUMBBL, the rules and strategy, etc.
