Iron man streak broken
William Faulkner's iron man streak has ended at 127 games, with his ankle being smashed by a foul at the hands of the Mexican Inmortals. Until this, he had never taken anything worse than BH without regenerating. He will remain with the team for now, slightly slower but still dangerous.

Iron man streaks are not something that are easy to track on this site. The only reason I am sure about William's is that he was hired on after the Pestilence's second game, so as long as the number of games showing for William and for the team were two apart (127 and 129, at the moment) I was sure that he hadn't missed any games in the middle. I don't think there is any real way of tracking streaks on the site other than manually, though. For instance, the second-oldest player on A Well-Read Pestilence is Samuel Clemens. Is there any way to see what his streak is at aside from just looking back at all of the team's games?

Regardless, I'm curious if anyone else knows of players that managed to put together long strings of consecutive games. Post in the comments!

I have a beastman who's on a streak, set to play his 59th consecutive match:

Interestingly, I just made a thread about this sort of thing:

My Shrieking Bloodstorm Saurus, when they reach centennial age, get checked manually to see how many games they missed.

So I don't know exactly what my longest Iron Man was (probably somewhere around the 80 mark), but I know for instance that Shindahl (legendary skink thrower) who was an original member of the team, has only missed 7 games of the 133 the team has played.

Love streaks like this!

Foulspawn (props to anyone who gets that reference ;)) Managed 76 games before a -ST (first ever injury! and Regen failed :P). Only noticed since he has been there since game 1.

Potion had been sitting around ages, he's nothing really special, but used it for the sole reason of never having a player play every game for so long. (In stunty no less!)

Want to see how far he'll go, even if not a true Iron man. ;)
