Strange Game
What a strange game I just played. I felt like I was dominating the entire time at yet I still lost 2 - 0. To say the least the other coach was a very good player! Still my guys let his team really have it and at one point I out numbered him by a lot! His night elves were slippery and dodged almost every single time it seemed like.
Then with only a few turns left in the game I made a fatal mistake and accidentally moved my guy through a tackle zone when I didn't mean to and didn't have to. My plan was to tackle the dark elf with two dice just to get him out of the way then try a last second skink blitz on his ball carrier (It probably wouldn't have worked any how but it cost me my last chance at equalizing the game)
The real mistake was my offensive drive. It started out well (I think) but ended up with all my guys in the top part of the pitch getting cornered in by his team. I almost made a touch down by my skink got tripped up on the last dodge :( then the ball bounced ALL The way back across the freaking pitch and into MY half of it (from their goal line, wtf?!) He had a player in the area and his quick dark elves got a hold of it in no time. I get my 3 other skinks and blitz him , manage to get the ball and tie up the rest of his team but I just can't manage to finish him off and get the ball back into his half with one of my players.
I'm sure a more experienced coach would have had this dark elf team for lunch but alas I am not. He made all the right moves and I made a bunch of awkward ones and several wrong ones ^_^ Still I had fun, though this is the first game where I screamed F@#$@# over and over at my own mistake.

Bit of advice: I think you need to be a bit smarter in the games that you choose. Looking at your match list, you've played several games where your team's TS has been significantly lower than ur opponent's - one or two against v. good coaches. TS is more important than TR for choosing a fair game - I almost always try to make sure I'm within +/- 10 TS of my opponent.

Sometimes I don't have much of a choice if I want to play a game there aren't that many people on while I'm able to play. If there were more people I'd be able to find a game where the teams are more even :)
