Three times in a row.
My country (Spain) may suck in other subjects (economics?! :-D) but we did it again.
I almost couldn't believe we won the first Euro. Then came the World Cup. And now the Euro again.

All your team needs now is to learn to play entertaining footie throughout a tournament, not just the final, because your lot were boring throughout ;-)

yup they were pretty good in the final, but sadly spain are also reponsible for ruining football with their perpetual diving and crying about nothing.
Now you are not even allowed to tackle in football anymore. It has been turned into a non contact sport which is one of the main reasons why Spain are suddenly doing so well.
Football is on the verge of being ruined for ever. :'(

Garion does make a good point.
Spain is VERY good atm, and the current rules interpretation does help their style of play. I too lament the loss of real tackles (as an aging centreback myself), and find watching lower division football more exciting than top teams these days.
But hey, you can't say Spain are not WIN at CRP football. :)

When England got slaughtered 0-0 by Italy...
I transfered my alleigence temproarily to the land of my father. And despite having the same possession as Spain in the final they lost 4-0.
The real irony is Italy were praised for outclassing England with 68% possession but could not win the game. Against Spain they had as much if not more possession than SPain and lost heavily. Just goes to show football is not a game of pure numbers :-)
