Jon Lord's dead?!

This is a sad day indeed. I saw Purple live in what turned out to be one of his last gigs with the band. Ahh, to have been alive in the heyday.

not ashamed to say I was crying for ages earlier, thinking about all the times i saw him, all the hours and hours and hours ive spent listening to them. will see if i can change my profile pic here in honour

I'm not the biggest Deep Purple fan but their contribution to rock music can not be overstated! A big loss for Rock music and sadly we will see more & more rock legends pass away over the next few years!
