Long live the greenskins!
Wow :-)
Something very remarkable happened recently. Ever since the start of my bloodbowl career, now 8 years ago, I have almost exclusivly played with woodelves. Over the years I learned to hate bashing teams, especially orcs. Even though I'm doing mostly ok against them, I still disliked them a lot (yeey, It's turn 5 of the second half and I actually have 3 players left!) and I promised that I would never ever play an orc team...

Up until now :-) After yet another serious beating with my woodies, leaving 4 players MNG, I was listening to some Metallica albums. I thought to hell with this and decided to finally make an orc team. The first games went as expected (yes, playing orcs as a woodelf coach is not really a good idea - 6+ long pass anyone :P) and I found myself losing. However, despite the lack of everything which makes woodelves so strong, I found that I really started liking my little greenskins. Furthermore, their superior bashing qualities opened up a completly new aspect of the game for me, even after 8 years (not having to dodge away from every single opponent, but actually moving TOWARDS them, was a wonderful feeling). So far, I've played 5 matches, lost 4, got 1 draw (really lucky) but I'm having fun like I never had before. I lost one of my blitzers in the very first match (RIP), but on the other hand, the first skill I got was a +ST on a lineorc :D
I decided to focus on the orc team a bit and see where this leads, but if they keep up the good spirits I think I'm still going to have a lot of fun with them.

Long live the greenskins!
