Just another rant about the RNG...
I've read plenty of blogs / game reports about getting diced and I've been wondering, where does the line of getting diced go?

I don't think that losing a game (less TDs than the opponent) alone is enough to announce one diced. Usually I think myself 'being diced' when you simply don't get nothing done due to frequent skulls and 1's, while the opponent runs circles around your team and breaks AV regularly, thus making the team unable to function as an worthy opponent and/or team. As many of you know (and some may even admit it), a game with no real challenge is not a game. Although I’m not a solid, skilled tactician I like to play challenging matches, it’s the only way to learn.

When one’s being diced (and that you can almost certainly tell by the time 2nd half-time starts), nearly the only thing you can trust is 2-3d blocks – if your player has Block-skill. And that happening there’s no room for tactics or cunning moves, it’s just laying back and adapting the role of a spectator as the RNG has no means to give you an inch while it’s taking you a mile.
So many times after I’ve noticed that the match is going be a dicer against me I loose my motivation and by me doing that I seal the deal for sure. It’s also known as giving up. That’s my weakness, I must admit.

Usually when it’s been a while since the last time I got diced, getting diced doesn’t affect my playing much. It’s - for example - after 5 matches of total humiliation, skulls and 1’s, RIP’s and SI’s, failed apos, a few measly TD’s and lord knows what when it gets to me bad. Suddenly you realize that you’re not a worthy opponent, you’re a SPP-giveaway. Your teams are like the Salvation Army that are there for others to benefit, just because the RNG hasn’t given you a break for ages.
I know bad luck and I even understand it, but like many others have stated; several matches (5+) in a row with different teams and setups fail, rendering your teams into puddles of blood?! Senseless. Or are there just that many lousy coaches? Breaking AV easily is not directly connected to coaching abilities, that’s all about the RNG. Giving your player Mighty Blow, RSC or Claw is coaching, but how they affect is – again – all about RNG.

Remember a match where your AV8 –players get maimed and boxed while your opponent’s AV7 –players barely get stunned, throughout the match? Now that ain’t - in any way - fun, that’s predictably pre-planned. Is that what RNG is based on? It gives you a judgement when the match starts and then you just have to swallow it? Another conspiracy theory? Heh, maybe not. But still it makes you wonder how all this is possible. Real randomness ain’t like that, we aren't tossing buttered toasts.

And for the end…
I’m not into humiliating other coaches or teams when they’re being diced and kind of getting even with RNG, ‘cause that’s just ridiculous; getting even with a program, haahaa. But still, I try to make the best of the situation (SPP-wise) and I don’t expect other coaches to treat me any different than normal if I’m being diced. That’s just how the rookie crumbles :)
